Bring on More Fun

Mondays are Specials Events days at Eagle Hill and are filled with laughter, camp spirit and pure camp fun. Whether enjoying our annual World Cup Soccer Tournament, our Camp Carnival “Skootch”, Quest for the Golden Arches or other Eagle Hill favorites, the break from the everyday program of camp adds a little bit of spice to the camp week and brings a great bonding experience for all of our campers from youngest to oldest. Two of our most prized Special Events are Tribals and Olympics, both filled with light competition, singing, spirit and loads of camp tradition.

Lots of fun…. Every camp day is capped off with an Evening Activity like a Talent Show at Big Red (our gym), a DJ Party or Karaoke Night at the Lodge (our Rec Hall), an overnight at our campsite, a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament under the lights of one of our 5 outdoor Basketball Courts, Capture the Flag on the Soccer Field or a Treasure Hunt/Scavenger Hunt around the grounds of camp. Often, these activities are followed by a visit to the Eagle Sweet Shop (our Canteen) for refreshments, music and more fun. During the summer, all age groups enjoy a night out for ice cream at Red Hook’s famous ice cream parlor, “Holy Cow”.

Thursdays are trip days to water parks, places like Howe Caverns, Great Escape Amusement Park, Lake Taghkanic or Bash Bish Falls. When it rains, we change our plans and go bowling, roller-skating or to the movies.
