A Taste of Eagle Hill
The following describes a typical Rookie Day – For now, we do not know if we will be running this program this summer. Stay tuned for information for Rookie Day 2024 in the Spring of 2024.
This one-day event is the perfect opportunity for prospective campers to visit our camp, be a part of the camp family, and see what CEH is all about! Rookies will spend the day participating in a fun-packed schedule with current CEH campers and staff. Parents will be taken on a tour of our facility and attend a Q&A session with our Directorship before spending some free time in the local area. For the full Rookie Day schedule, please see below. All Rookies will receive their very own CEH T-shirt in addition to a bunk photo! After spending a day at Camp Eagle Hill, we hope your child(ren) will become a camper for life!
Should we run Rookie Day 2024, it will be open to prospective campers going into 3rd through 6th grades. Space will be LIMITED. RSVPs will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Rookie Day fee is $125 — parents will receive a voucher to go towards tuition for the summer of 2025 (see details below).

Rookie Day FAQ’s
What is the age range for Rookie Day?
Rookie Day is open to boys and girls going into 2nd through 6th grades.
What should I pack for my camper(s)?
Bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, a change of clothes, and toiletries.
What is the fee for Rookie Day? $125*
The cost for the day is $125. At the end of Rookie Day, parents will receive a $125 voucher towards tuition for Summer 2025. Enroll for ANY of our sessions for 2025 by 8/31/24 and we’ll MATCH your voucher for a total discount of $250. Camp Eagle Hill T-shirt & Bunk Photo included in fee.
Will food be provided at Rookie Day?
We will provide a light breakfast, full buffet lunch, and afternoon snack for our Rookies. Gluten-free options will be available. Should we run this day, you will be able let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions. We will be in contact with you prior to your arrival to discuss this information.
