At Eagle Hill, we understand that great people make magical summers. Our beautiful facilities and programming is filled with many great things to do. However, the people who come together to bring camp to life are the key to a magical summer where memories are made.

Our camp directors, large adult staff, hard-working support staff and enthusiastic counselor staff all work together with one goal in mind: to create a summer that our guests will remember for the rest of their lives.

We do not hire world class athletes or people on the basis of their appearance, what college they attended or their experiences as world travelers. Instead, we seek out staff members who are great role models, who are empathetic and who will be dedicated to the goals of our camp while providing warmth and exuding enthusiasm. We look for, train, and work with great people to create magical Eagle Hill summers.

Our Counselors

All of our counselors are enthusiastic, friendly and warm. Many have grown up with us, which lends a great deal of tradition to all that we do as a camp. Our counselors encourage and care for all of our campers each day. It’s their goal to ensure that all of our campers are participating, making friends and having fun.

Counselors live in small camp groups at Eagle Hill. Two counselors live and work with seven to eight children of the same school grade. Small groups allow our counselors to offer the best and most individualized, dedicated attention to the details that make the difference in a child’s progress and ultimate success at our camp.

Our counselors are skilled in specific areas of expertise. They work hard to develop fun, productive and meaningful programs for our campers of all ages and skill levels. Counselors focus on producing high quality programs as well as camper inclusion, self-esteem building and encouraging the development of friendships through activities. They specialize in providing a safe, fun approach to working with our campers.
