Even with over a half century of operation, Eagle Hill is still years newer than many of today’s summer camps. The majority of our summer camp facilities have been built over the last 25 years and many have been recently updated or renovated, making Eagle Hill a beautiful, modern camp facility.
Expansive Sports Fields and Courts
We are proud to offer campers large open athletic fields and courts. Our facilities include 2 baseball fields, 5 basketball courts, 8 tennis courts, 2 soccer fields, 1 large hockey rink and 3 volleyball courts which together let us offer an exceptional sporting program.
Tremendous Indoor Facilities
Few camps offer the number of indoor areas as we do at Eagle Hill. Our indoor facilities include an enormous gymnasium (Big Red) with our Eagle Hill Theater at one end. We also have a large activities building featuring a beautiful new dance studio, kitchen and technical theater studio (Little Red). The Barn is a unique Creative Arts Center and The Lodge is an inviting Recreation Hall/Canteen Building with a spacious Dining Room.
We’ve recently added a super large tent overlooking the entire Eagle Hill property that we use for weekly picnics and barbecues. Our new amphitheater gives us ample outdoor space for shows, outdoor gatherings, campfires and other camp activities and events.
Bustling Waterfront
Our spring-fed lake sits at the heart of our summer camp facility and is flanked at each end with a pool. The lakefront offers beautiful views from many different areas of camp. It features a large new dock complete with a long water slide and an inflatable iceberg. The waterfront is always bustling with activity as the pools are filled with swim classes, lap swimming, water polo, water aerobics, and assorted other fun programs.
The camp lake also offers the use of a large number of small water craft. It is the site of the annual Eagle Hill “diamond swim” and the start of our great Eagle Hill triathlon. One end of our lake near Eagle Hill’s famous and massive camp willow tree offers the perfect opportunity for fishing.
Activity Areas
Eagle Hill offers a large number of activity areas which help round out our camp program. We have a new archery area, full sized golf range, double looped and banked go-kart track, computer lab, ropes course, nature area, campout site, wooded hiking area and much more.
Camp Cabins
Our camp cabins are wood frame construction. All have been newly renovated on both the girls and boys sides of camp to be safe and comfortable for our campers. Each cabin is complete with large porches and full bathrooms. All cabins contain single wooden beds, attic fans, large storage spaces for clothing and lots of open floor space for fun group activities.
